Jim Olson

Having worked at the IWRC since 1988, Jim is the longest serving member of the IWRC staff. Jim’s educational background includes a B.A. in Biology at the University of Northern Iowa and an M.S. in Thermal and Environmental Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. As Waste Management Specialist, Jim manages the original program of the IWRC, On-Site Reviews. He also continues to work directly with Iowa small businesses, assists with their environmental and regulatory concerns and presents at workshops and conferences.
