The Region’s Strategic Plan for Entrepreneurship is the product of three facilitated planning session (Spring 2014) tailored to the unique demographics, economic trends, service providers, and entrepreneurship needs within Hamilton and Wright Counties. Planning team members consisted of a wide variety of stakeholders including entrepreneurs, economic development/chambers of commerce leadership, financial institutions, small business development centers/entrepreneurship centers, community colleges, elected officials and the regional council of government.
The team identified strategic goals and objectives around the area of supportive culture, business and technical assistance, networking and capital. The plan was then presented to stakeholders identified as having lead responsibilities for feedback, input, adoption and endorsement. Plan implementation begins in Year II and continues throughout the five year Regional Entrepreneurship Project (REP). Click the button below to download the full strategic plan.
